Why Shop a Trunk show?

  • You’ll be the first to shop the collection. 
  • We often offer incentives and perks for purchasing a dress from a trunk show. 
  • Designers or their representatives often come by to say hello and work with our brides on their perfect wedding day look. Recent guests include Estee Couture, Martina liana, and more.
What should I Expect?
  • Every guest at Elegance by Roya works with a dedicated stylist to guide you through the process of finding the perfect wedding dress. 
  • For your first appointment, we require a $50 deposit for the consultation. If you purchase your gown at that specific location within two weeks of your appointment, you will receive credit for the consultation fee. The fee will be charged in the event of a no-show or a cancellation with less than 24 hours advance notice.

What size gowns are carried in store?
  • The majority of our stock gowns are a bridal size 10-12, but these are just samples for you to see and try on as you shop. All gowns are custom ordered, to your measurements from our selection of designers so your dress will fit your body perfectly.
  • We carry a wide range of Plus Size gowns at our Curvy location right next to our Old Town Location. We also offer a smaller selection of Plus Size gowns at our Tysons Corner and Old Town locations.

What is the price range of your gowns?
  • Our bridal stylists will be completely respectful of your budget while showing you the options we have in your preferred price range. Our gowns range from $1,800- $7,000 within our Old Town boutique; boutique; whereas gowns range from $2,000 – $16,000 at our Tysons Corner boutique
How many people can I bring to my appointment?
  • We encourage you to bring a couple of the most important people with you to be a part of finding the perfect gown. Please keep in mind that we accommodate multiple brides at a time and can provide seating for a maximum of 3 guests per bridal party. 
  • We do not allow children under 12 yrs old to attend bridal appointments. Due to liability & safety reasons, we cannot allow children to be present.
When should I say “Yes to the Dress!”?
  • Creating your dream gown can take up to 8 months. You must also factor in shipping and alterations, which can take up to an additional 3 months. Most of our brides say “Yes to the Dress!” about 1 year prior to their wedding date.
  • For brides who don’t have that time frame, we offer rush and off the rack gowns. Additional rush fees do apply.

Where are your two locations?
  • Our Old Town bridal boutique is conveniently located a few short blocks from the King St. metro and within walking distance to the unique Old Town stores, coffee shops, and not to mention minutes away from Georgetown stores.
    • There is street parking available for this location.
    • Our Tysons Corner bridal boutique, located opposite of the Tysons Corner mall is just outside of Washington DC & Maryland. The location of this boutique in the Fairfax Square center, defines the luxury shopping experience as we are located next to Tiffany & CO, Roche Bobois, Miele, Liljenquist & Beckstead,  and Patsy’s American.
      • There is retail parking available. Fairfax Square also offers complimentary valet parking.
