Meet Roya
Roya first opened the doors to her original boutique on charming King street in Old Town, Alexandria in 1998. With a passion for elegance and a commitment to exceptional service, the boutique quickly became a local favorite.
Nearly a decade ago, she proudly expanded into Tysons Corner, bringing her signature style and personalized bridal experience to a wider audience while staying true to the heart of where it all began.
Roya studied fashion design for seven intensive years at the Hamburg Fashion Design School in Germany. Her specialty is bridal and evening wear, and, since opening Elegance, EBR has done nothing short of astounding the wedding parties in the Washington, DC area. Her style may be described as simply Elegance.
Meet Mariam
With a degree in Business Management and over a decade of experience in the bridal industry, Mariam brings a refined blend of elegance, expertise, and structure to her role at Elegance by Roya. Her background includes working closely with top designers, giving her a deep understanding of the artistry behind bridal fashion and the importance of a flawless client experience. Mariam is passionate about helping each bride feel effortlessly radiant, curating every moment with warmth, care, and impeccable attention to detail. Her thoughtful approach ensures that every appointment feels personalized, polished, and unforgettable.Â
Meet Farah
For over 20 years, Farah has worked alongside top designers at Elegance by Roya, bringing each bride’s vision to life through custom gowns that reflect their unique style and story. With a degree in Fashion Design, she leads as both Store Manager and Alterations Manager, combining her technical expertise with a passion for creating unforgettable bridal experiences. Her work has even been featured in Washingtonian magazine.
Meet Ayesha
Ayesha began her journey with us over five years ago, bringing with her a background in Art History and a passion for design. She has since honed her skills by working with over 40 designers, helping bring each bride’s unique vision to life. She believes there’s nothing more rewarding than helping a bride find the gown that makes her feel confident, beautiful, and ready to walk into forever.
Meet Kimmie
Kimmie’s journey into the bridal world began over 20 years ago while studying Art History at Boston University. Her career has taken her from working with Vera Wang in New York and Washington, D.C., to roles as Manager and Buyer at Saks Fifth Avenue. Today, she brings her experience and eye for fashion to Elegance by Roya as the Merchandise Director.
Meet Crystal
For the past five years, Crystal has been a dedicated part of the EBR family. With a passion for fashion design and communications she discovered her true calling—connecting with and empowering women on their bridal journeys. As a senior stylist and merchandise manager, she blends her eye for fashion with a commitment to making every bride feel heard, confident and beautiful.
Meet Emily
With many years of experience in the bridal industry and a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Emily honed her craft at prestigious boutiques such as Kleinfeld Bridal and Monique Lhuillier in New York City. She is dedicated to capturing every bride’s unique style, ensuring they feel confident, radiant, and celebrated on their special day.
